As a small child, and as an adult, I gravitate to the pictures in books for the stories they tell.
I fell in love with children’s books as a school teacher in my home country of New Zealand, When I moved to the U.S. I went back to school for art, studying at the School of Visual Arts and the Art Student’s League in New York.
My work is populated with mice, bears, bunnies and children busy about their adventures.
I live in the beautiful Ojai Valley in Southern California with my husband and more pets than I can count. My 3 grown children are not too far away.
